My research focuses in ecology and evolution with special emphasis in population dynamics
A central question of my research is the evolutionary response of species to environmental disturbances that influences new breeding overlaps between species or populations, breaking their independent evolution
I am interested in applying new quantitative analysis and simulation modelling tools, mainly to population genetics and ecology, in order to understand the past and future evolution of biodiversity.
